VanG Chair (ash)          VanG Chair (burn)

A comtermpory version of a classic stick chair, made famous in Van Gogh’s Chair, 1888.

The Irish version of this vernacular stick chair is called a sūgān. These chairs were part of Martn’s BA project,

“How can we learn from what we’ve forgotten?”

Which led to Fire Watcher.
